MUNTEANU RAMONA, PIANO
Ramona Munteanu, pianista di origine rumena e veneziana d’adozione, è stimata per la sua profonda sensibilità artistica abbinata a un’eccellente tecnica, come sottolineato dal Maestro Andrei Gavrilov. Ha iniziato lo studio del pianoforte a 5 anni, completando la sua formazione in Romania con il Diploma presso il Liceo Musicale “S.Toduta” e, successivamente, la Laurea e il Master all’Accademia di Musica “G. Dima”. Due volte borsista ai corsi estivi del Brevard Music Center (USA), nel 2006 si è trasferita a Venezia, inizialmente con Erasmus, per poi conseguire il Biennio specialistico in Pianoforte presso il Conservatorio “B. Marcello”. Ha perfezionato le sue capacità pianistiche sotto la guida di maestri illustri quali A. Gavrilov, L. Chiantore, R. Zadra, F. Righini, C. Meyer, V. Negreanu. Ha ricevuto Primi Premi come solista al Lugano International Music Competition, al King’s Peak International Music Competition (2022), al Concorso Note sul mare a Roma (2018) e come camerista il Secondo Premio al Festival di Bellagio e del Lago di Como (2011). Esordisce come solista con orchestra in Romania all’età di soli 9 anni e a Venezia con l’orchestra del Teatro La Fenice nel 2009. La sua intensa attività concertistica l’ha portata a esibirsi in Germania, USA, Spagna e Portogallo. Dopo aver insegnato Pianoforte nei Conservatori di Udine e Padova, attualmente ricopre il ruolo di Docente di Pratica e lettura pianistica e musica da camera presso il Conservatorio “G. Puccini” di Gallarate.

Ramona Munteanu, a pianist of Romanian origin and Venetian by adoption, is esteemed for her profound artistic sensitivity combined with excellent technique, as emphasized by Maestro Andrei Gavrilov. She began studying piano at the age of five, completing her education in Romania with a diploma from the “S. Toduta” Music High School, followed by a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at the “G. Dima” Academy of Music. A two-time scholarship holder at the Brevard Music Center summer courses (USA), she moved to Venice in 2006, initially through the Erasmus program, later earning a specialized postgraduate diploma in Piano at the “B. Marcello” Conservatory. She refined her pianistic skills under the guidance of distinguished teachers such as A. Gavrilov, L. Chiantore, R. Zadra, F. Righini, C. Meyer, and V. Negreanu. She has received First Prizes as a soloist at the Lugano International Music Competition, the King’s Peak International Music Competition (2022), and the “Note sul mare” Competition in Rome (2018), as well as Second Prize in chamber music at the Bellagio and Lake Como Festival (2011). She made her orchestral debut as a soloist in Romania at just nine years old and in Venice with the Teatro La Fenice Orchestra in 2009. Her intense concert activity has taken her to Germany, the USA, Spain, and Portugal. After teaching Piano at the Conservatories of Udine and Padua, she currently serves as Professor of Piano Practice and Sight-Reading and Chamber Music at the “G. Puccini” Conservatory in Gallarate.
