KUBOTA SOTA, PIANO<\/p>\n

Nato nel 2000, Sota Kubota ha iniziato a suonare il pianoforte all\u2019et\u00e0 di cinque anni. Ha studiato composizione con specializzazione in musica contemporanea presso l\u2019Universit\u00e0 Nihon, dove si \u00e8 laureato con il massimo dei voti. Successivamente, si \u00e8 trasferito in Germania grazie a una borsa di studio DAAD. Nel 2025 ha conseguito la laurea magistrale in pianoforte presso l\u2019Universit\u00e0 delle Arti Folkwang con il massimo dei voti. Attualmente \u00e8 iscritto al Konzertexamen presso la stessa universit\u00e0, sotto la guida del Prof. Henri Sigfridsson.<\/div>\n
Dal 2024, Sota ha ottenuto notevoli successi in concorsi pianistici internazionali. Ha vinto il Primo Premio al Concorso Pianistico Internazionale Sergio Fiorentino in Italia e ha ricevuto premi importanti in diversi altri prestigiosi concorsi, tra cui \u201cLa Palma d\u2019Oro\u201d in Italia e il Concorso Pianistico della Fondazione K\u00f6hler-Osbahr in Germania.<\/div>\n
Come compositore, Sota \u00e8 attivo sia nel panorama della musica classica che in quello della musica contemporanea. Le sue opere sono state eseguite da diversi musicisti e trasmesse via radio. Nel 2025 \u00e8 stata eseguita in prima assoluta la sua opera \u201cIntonation\u201d per nove esecutori, commissionata dall\u2019ENSEMBLE NOMAD. Inoltre, \u00e8 attivamente impegnato nella composizione per la mano sinistra del pianoforte, con diverse opere gi\u00e0 pubblicate o in programma di pubblicazione.<\/div>\n

Born in 2000, Sota Kubota began playing the piano at the age of five. He studied composition with a focus on contemporary music at Nihon University, where he graduated at the top of his class. Subsequently, he moved to Germany as a DAAD scholar. In 2025, he completed his Master\u2019s degree in Piano at the Folkwang University of the Arts with the highest honors. He is currently enrolled in the Konzertexamen at the same university under the tutelage of Prof. Henri Sigfridsson.<\/div>\n
Since 2024, Sota has achieved remarkable success in international piano competitions. He was awarded First Prize at the Sergio Fiorentino IPC in Italy and has received top prizes at several other prestigious competitions, including \u201cLa Palma D\u2019Oro\u201d in Italy and the K\u00f6hler-Osbahr Foundation Piano Competition in Germany.<\/div>\n
As a composer, Sota is active in both classical and contemporary music scenes. His works have been performed by various musicians and featured on radio broadcasts. In 2025, his work \u201cIntonation\u201d for nine players, commissioned by ENSEMBLE NOMAD, was premiered. Furthermore, he is actively involved in composing for the piano left hand, with several of his works already published or scheduled for publication.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
