Franz Silvestri \u00e8 nato a Magenta (Milano) nel 1974. Ha iniziato a studiare musica da bambino, interessandosi all’ organo e al pianoforte. E’ diventato organista di chiesa per la prima volta a soli nove anni. A tredici anni ha vinto il suo primo concorso internazionale. Collabora con diversi Ensemble, cori ed orchestre: Festeggio Armonico (anche come Direttore), Ensemble Baschenis, Orchestra Sinfonica Giuseppe Verdi Milano, LaBarocca, Orchestra Milano Classica, Mail\u00e4nder Kantorei, Silete Venti, Ensemble Isabella Leonarda, con vari concerti in Italia e resto d’ Europa. Ha suonato con importanti cantanti come\u00a0 Sonia Prina, Karina Gauvin, Stefanie Iranyi, Cyrill Auvity, Christian Senn, Klaus Kuttler, Anicio Zorzi Giustiniani, C\u00e9line Scheen, Filippo Mineccia, Angelo Manzotti e molti altri. Ha inciso diversi Cd come continuista, curando anche la revisione dei manoscritti. Nel 2015 ha iniziato l’ esecuzione in concerto dell’Opera Omnia di J. S. Bach per clavicembalo presso la Chiesa protestante di Milano.<\/p>\n

Franz Silvestri was born near Milan in 1974. As a child he started his musical studies with a special interest for piano and organ playing. He was barely nine years old when he had his first post as a church organist. When he was thirteen he was awarded first prize at an international piano competition. He has devoted himself to the study of various keyboard instruments. He currently collaborates with several important ensembles such as the Ensemble Festeggio Armonico (also as director), Ensemble Baschenis, Symphonic Orchestra Giuseppe Verdi Milan, LaBarocca, Mail\u00e4nder Kantorei, Milano Classica Chamber Orchestra, Silete Venti and Ensemble Isabella Leonarda, with performances and tours in Italy and all around Europe. He has played with remarkable singers such as Sonia Prina, Karina Gauvin, Stefanie Iranyi, Cyrill Auvity, Christian Senn, Klaus Kuttler, Anicio Zorzi Giustiniani, C\u00e9line Scheen, Filippo Mineccia, Angelo Manzotti and many others. He has reviewed original manuscripts and editions, and has recorded different programs of baroque and symphonic music.\u00a0In the 2015 he started a series of concerts in the Protestant Church in Milan, playing \u00a0the complete harpsichord works by J. S. Bach.<\/p>\n
