Paolo Ferrigato<\/strong>, flauto-flute<\/p>\n Manuel Merlo<\/strong>, chitarra-guitar<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Paolo Ferrigato <\/strong>e Manuel Merlo<\/strong>, entrambi diplomati presso il Conservatorio Statale \u201cG.Ghedini\u201d di Cuneo, nel 2009 ottengono la laurea in II livello nei rispettivi strumenti con il massimo dei voti presso la stessa istituzione. Manuel Merlo studia tra gli altri con i maestri P.Manzo,P.Briasco risultando vincitore di numerosi concorsi nazionali ed internazionali.<\/p>\n Paolo Emmanuel Ferrigato segue i consigli dei maestri C.Montafia, R.Trevisani, R.Abate, P.L.Graf, e si dedica prevalentemente alla musica da camera collaborando con numerose formazioni.<\/p>\n La collaborazione artistica tra i due musicisti inizia nel 1990 con il desiderio di approfondire e conoscere il repertorio per flauto e chitarra. La ventennale amicizia tra i due artisti ha permesso loro di raggiungere una raffinatezza timbrica e soprattutto un \u201cinsieme d\u2019intenti\u201d che fanno di questo duo una delle\u00a0 <\/span>formazioni pi\u00f9 interessanti del momento.<\/p>\n Il duo infatti, \u00e8 protagonista di importanti rassegne musicali in Italia, Francia, Germania.<\/p>\n Oltre al repertorio tradizionale per flauto e chitarra, il duo, ha sempre svolto un lavoro di ricerca sul repertorio del \u2018900 eseguendo brani originali o trascrizioni da altri strumenti, oppure collaborando con strumentisti jazz realizzando produzioni particolari come la Pic-Nic Suite di C.Bolling (flauto, chitarra, trio jazz).<\/p>\n Recentemente, ha prestato particolare attenzione alla musica dell\u2019America Latina, scoprendo giovani autori contemporanei e trascrivendo molti brani di A.Piazzolla.<\/p>\n Duo Paolo Ferrigato \u2013 Manuel Merlo<\/b><\/p>\n Paolo Ferrigato and Manuel Merlo, both achieved their diplomas at the \u201cG.Ghedini\u201d Conservatory in Cuneo, and in 2009 won their II level qualification in their respective instruments with top marks, again at the same conservatory. Graf, and has devoted himself primarily to chamber music, working with numerous ensembles.<\/p>\n The artistic collaboration of the two musicians began in 1990 with both seeking to further their knowledge of the repertoire for flute and guitar. Twenty years of friendship have meant that the artists have succeeded in achieving a refined timbre and a \u201ctogetherness of intent\u201d making this duo one of the most interesting of our time.<\/p>\n The duo has performed indeed in important musical events in Italy, France and Germany. Alongside the traditional repertoire for flute and guitar, the duo has always worked on research into the repertoire of the twentieth century, performing original works or transcriptions of pieces written for other instruments, or again working with jazz musicians on particular productions, like the C. Bolling\u2019s Pic-Nic Suite<\/i><\/p>\n (flute, guitar, jazz trio). The duo has recently dedicated special attention to the music of Latin America, discovering young contemporary composers and transcribing many works by A.
