Nel compilare il presente CD abbiamo voluto scegliere le opere pi\u00f9 rappresentative delle diverse tendenze stilistiche che animavano il sinfonismo lombardo durante gli anni dell\u2019occupazione francese. Questo vorrebbe essere un grande affresco che, senza alcuna pretesa di esaustivit\u00e0, aiuti l\u2019ascoltatore a farsi un idea della musica che si ascoltava nei teatri, nelle chiese, nelle istituzioni scolastiche e nelle feste della Milano dei primi anni dell\u2019ottocento.
\nWith the making of this CD, we wanted to choose the works most representative of the different stylistic tendencies that animated Lombard symphonism during the years of the French occupation. This would like to be a large fresco that, without any pretension to exhaustiveness, helps the listener to get an idea of the music that was heard in Milan\u2019s theatres, churches, educational institutions, and festivals in the early 19th Century.<\/p>\n
