CARRÈRE ALBANE, MEZZO SOPRANO
Il mezzo soprano francese Albane Carrère è nata a Vienna. Dopo aver con-seguito il diploma di canto al Conservatorio Reale di Musica di Bruxelles, si perfeziona presso l’European Opera Center. Calca da solista i palcoscenici dei maggiori Teatri di Francia, Belgio e Italia esibendosi, in repertori che spaziano dal barocco al contemporaneo. La troviamo così nei panni di Cherubino, Carmen e altresì Mercedes, The Woman (nel debutto internazionale di Is this the End? di Jean-Luc Fafchamps), Clara Wieck nella prima mondiale di Espace fluide di Benjamin Hamon, Idamante ne l’Idomeneo. Con il Quartetto Alfama, nel 2020 vince gli Octave de la musique classique con un disco un CD dedicato a Schubert. Nella sua rubrica “Gli album preferiti” di Le Monde (2022), il suo recente disco “Il est quelqu’un sur terre” è primo classificato nella selezione del critico musicale Pierre Gervasoni.

The French mezzo soprano Albane Carrère was born in Vienna. After gratua-ting at the Royal Music Conservatory of Bruxelles, Albane Carrère attended cour-ses at the European Opera Center. She takes scenes of the main Opera houses of France, Belgium and Italy, her repertoire spanning from baroque to contemporary music. She is Cherubino, Carmen as well as Mercedes, The Woman (in the World première of Is this the End? di Jean-Luc Fafchamps), Clara Wieck in the performance of Espace fluide by Benjamin Hamon, Idamante in Idomeneo. With the Alfama quartet she was awarded Les octaves de la musique classique 2020 with a CD devoted do Schubert. In his rubric “recommended albums of 2022” in Le Monde, her last recording “Il est quelqu’un sur terre” was at the top of the selection of the music critic Pierre Gervasoni.
